Jim Mencini is a licensed California real estate broker since 1981, president of JMM Enterprises,Inc of Lake Forest, CA.
Prior to his affiliation in the distressed asset market Jim’s early career started with the sales of recreational land with one of the largest home builders in the country, Larwin Development Company. He created a model specializing in the sales of homes to US Veterans in the Orange County area in 1979 called Veteran Real Estate, Garden Grove, CA. Veteran Real Estate started franchising offices in 1985 and expanded to over thirty offices including locations in N. Californa, Nevada, Arizona, Florida.
A mortgage entity was formed called PEMCO (Pacific Express Mortgage Company) to originate and process the loans created by the sales organization.
His experience with new home builders and a large sales force allowed him the advantage to negotiate the sales of non-moving new inventory with builders such as KB Homes, Wm Lyon and smaller entry level home builders.
He is a member of Pacific West Association of Realtors® (PWR) Orange County, a member of National Association of Realtors® (NAR), California Association of Realtors® (CAR) and has taken many continuing educational real estate classes.
Mr. Mencini has recently been appointed to the advisory board of the Commercial Real Estate Distressed Asset Association and contributor to the association’s certification and designation committee. He resides in Lake Forest, CA.
